Time For Change
One of my favorite animals is the orangutan. I love going to a zoo and watching them, especially when there's a new baby. I could sit there all day and just admire them.
I recently read something pertaining to palm oil and orangutans. What I found was shocking. Thousands of orangutans are losing their lives each year for the cultivation of palm oil. As the forest is cleared the orangutans are either shot on site, tortured before being killed or kept as pets.
Since we use palm oil in all of our soap recipes, we decided to do some additional research and found a new supplier that carries sustainable palm oil. From this point forward you can be sure that the products you receive from us are not contributing to these horrific crimes.

I will warn you, that some of the pictures are graphic. I know a couple of them made me cry.
